Ever wish your daily news came with pastries and good company? Yeah, us too. Get your news somewhere other than that little computer in your pocket on March 5th. We're partnering with Ticketleap to gather a small group of Billy Penn readers for a quick breakfast and a news catch-up set to a kitchen timer before heading into the office.
We'll have an array of muffins and pastries ready, and you can order your morning coffee or tea on us.
8:15-8:40am Our moderator will devote five minutes each to five recent Philly news stories, and give everyone a chance to ask questions or voice their opinions. When five minutes is up, a timer will go off and we'll quickly move to the next topic to keep things going.
8:40-9am We'll use these last few minutes to circle back to any particular headline(s) that the group seemed most interested in, or to touch on a topic everyone feels should be getting more attention. We'll talk about what future Breakfast & The News events could look like and have everyone off to work by 9.
